Job Overview

Our client is well-regarded for their ability to integrate technical expertise with the resources of their clients and partners, tackling some of the most critical environmental challenges.

As the energy sector undergoes significant transformation, our client is dedicated to spearheading this evolution, particularly in the Bioenergy domain. They are currently in search of a highly qualified and driven Plant Manager to manage and enhance operations at their bioenergy production facility.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the daily functions of the bioenergy facility, ensuring all operations are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor the plant's performance, encompassing production, maintenance, and safety protocols, to achieve or surpass operational objectives.
  • Establish and track operational KPIs to guarantee that the site meets or exceeds its financial targets.
  • Create and uphold all operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs), ensuring comprehensive training and compliance among all team members.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum of an HNC in Engineering or a related field; a degree or HND is highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a production or plant management capacity, preferably within the bioenergy or a similar industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated track record of fostering operational excellence.
  • Readiness to engage in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as necessary.
