Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Due Diligence Consultant to join our team at WTW. As a key member of our M&A Practice, you will be responsible for providing risk and insurance due diligence services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and undertake project management and consultancy work in the provision of risk and insurance due diligence services for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external client contacts and other parts of WTW.
  • Seek opportunities for new business from external and internal client referrals.
  • Manage communications between the client and the WTW M&A Practice.
  • Understand the client's business and project issues, needs, and expectations.
  • Build trusted adviser relationships to generate repeat revenue opportunities across our M&A value proposition.
Project Management and Consultancy
  • Undertake risk and insurance consulting and due diligence services to clients, including fee and scope evaluation, execution, and delivery of due diligence reporting.
  • Manage projects effectively, leveraging broader WTW country and sector specialists to the benefit of the client.
  • Access information from various sources to collect and coordinate data at the outset of a project.
  • Provide quality advice to clients.
  • Identify and collate data for inclusion into reports.
  • Review key contractual documents and peer diligence reports.
  • Take ownership of projects, coordinating and sourcing core project teams as needed.
  • Provide proactive and enthusiastic service levels expected from client project teams.
  • Act as a referral point for the resolution of client queries internally and externally.
  • Deliver assessments through formal reports, supplemented by calls and/or presentations as required.
Procedures/Compliance
  • Take responsibility and ownership of projects for quality and accuracy.
  • Meet WTW M&A compliance and administration protocols and requirements, including file keeping, accurate reporting of management information, conflict management, and confidentiality issues.
  • Comply with authorisation sign-offs and protocols.
  • Work within FCA requirements and WTW specific procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain time recording individually and ensure this is done for projects where acting in a lead role.
Requirements
  • Insurance due diligence and/or experience in technical reviews of commercial insurance programmes.
  • M&A experience preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent Project Management skills.
