Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Search. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects, working closely with main contractors and sub-contractors to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Health and Safety: Supervise and enforce health and safety protocols on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of site staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communication: Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular project reports to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering construction projects on time and to budget.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in construction management or a related field, and certifications like CSCS and SMSTS.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of site staff.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction management principles, health and safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
