Overview of the Position

EKC Group is in search of a Facilities Support Officer to become a vital member of our Estates team. In this role, you will be engaged in providing essential caretaking services throughout the college, encompassing a variety of tasks related to facilities management, grounds maintenance, and operational support.

Your responsibilities will include the secure opening and closing of buildings, managing intruder alarm systems before and after operational hours, including weekends, and serving as a key holder. Additionally, you will participate in the on-call support team.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated and diligent individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, demonstrate flexibility in task management and shift schedules, and exhibit strong organizational skills under pressure.

While prior experience in health and safety, emergency lighting inspections, and record maintenance is beneficial, a genuine enthusiasm for the role is paramount. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the campus.
