We are excited to announce an opportunity with a well-established national refrigeration and air conditioning company that has been operating for over three decades. With an impressive annual turnover exceeding £10 million and a dedicated team of around 140 employees, including 100 skilled engineers, this organization is a leader in the industry.

Position Overview:

Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Engineer with a strong background in various refrigeration and air conditioning systems, with a focus on refrigeration (approximately 80%). The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of equipment, including:

  • Split systems
  • VRV systems
  • Walk-in chillers and freezers
  • Commercial refrigeration units
  • Cellar cooling systems
  • Ice machines

Compensation:

The starting salary for this role is £40,000 per annum, with opportunities for regular overtime that can increase your earnings by an additional £1,000 to £2,000+ each month.

On-Call Requirements:

This position includes an on-call rota, requiring availability one night a week and one in every four weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting customer locations, primarily in the hospitality sector, including pubs and restaurants.
  • Engaging with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Candidate Profile:

  • F-Gas certification and NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Proven experience as a Field or Service Engineer in refrigeration or air conditioning is essential.
