Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and reactive work on pack systems, walk-in cold rooms, and freezers in the supermarket industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on walk-in cold rooms, freezers, and chiller rooms to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Industry Experience: Possess experience working in supermarkets or commercial catering environments, with a strong understanding of refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Documentation and Administration: Ensure all paperwork, documentation, and tablet job information is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Equipment Diagnostics: Diagnose equipment faults accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Parts Procurement: Identify required parts to enable the Purchasing team to order in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  • F/Gas Certification: Possess a valid F/Gas Certification.
  • Driving License: Hold a full driving license.
  • Customer Facing Skills: Demonstrate strong customer-facing skills and the ability to work effectively with clients.
  • Field Engineer Experience: Possess experience working as a field engineer in the refrigeration industry.
  • Walk-in Fridge/Freezer Experience: Have experience working with walk-in fridge and freezer systems.
