Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a clinical pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy service.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical pharmacy services to patients in our mental health and physical healthcare settings
  • Developing and implementing clinical pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
  • Conducting clinical audits and quality improvement projects
  • Providing education and training to healthcare staff on pharmacy-related topics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • General Pharmaceutical Council membership
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (Band 7)
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy, including medicines information, aseptic services, and ward services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
