We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manager to join our team at Chartwells, the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all catering and service operations for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise teams to ensure exceptional food and customer service
- Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
- Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
- Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
- Liaise between customers and our internal teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations
- Support and train our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
- Minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
- Experience managing teams in a similar role
- Brilliant financial acumen
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
