Quality Engineer Job Opportunity

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is working with a precision engineering client in Basildon, Essex, who is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a robust repeatable engineering method/process is followed and will be responsible for process quality inspection checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop process driven operator inspection checks to improve throughput and reduce internal quality issues.
  • Support shopfloor quality process dimensional measurements.
  • Learn and train in current manufacturing methods and processes to gain understanding of products and support future development.
  • Develop and implement KPI metric reporting to control inspection bottle necks and throughput.
  • Support the manufacturing team with their recording & analysis of production data.
  • Rework analysis and reporting.
Requirements
  • An engineering or manufacturing based qualification.
  • A CMM Programming course qualification would be ideal.
  • An understanding of all inspection processes including manual and automatic measurement techniques.
