This is a remarkable opportunity for a driven individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to our Investment Banking division.

As an M&A Analyst within the UK M&A team, you will engage throughout the entire lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions, spanning various sectors. You will gain significant exposure to key M&A transactions occurring in the UK, representing one of the country's leading advisory firms in this field.

Your role will be crucial in supporting the execution of both public and private M&A transactions for UK corporate clients, financial sponsors, and international clients with UK-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan's product and sector teams
  • Develop and utilize sophisticated financial models, performing valuation and analytical tasks
  • Prepare presentation materials, including management presentations, Board documents, memorandums, and other materials for M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client discussions
  • Facilitate transaction execution: assist with due diligence, document preparation, negotiations, and liaise with relevant client counterparts and other advisors (accounting, legal, etc.)
  • Stay informed about significant market developments and build knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics
  • Monitor shareholder activism in the UK and support clients' development strategies
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
  • Relevant full-time experience in Investment Banking
  • Exceptional financial analysis and modeling capabilities
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated interest in and focus on deal execution
  • Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of investment banking products
  • Experience in client interactions
  • Background in M&A transactions
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Familiarity with UK Takeover Code transactions is advantageous
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus but not essential
This position involves the performance of regulated activities.
