About this Opportunity

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our Group Finance Support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing centralized support and expertise to the rest of Finance and the Business.

This role is a 6-month position, supporting the CB Financial Control team in Group Finance Support. You will be responsible for the financial control activity, reconciliation, and basis of substantiation of data on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the team as an SME on the Open Account project to ensure the proposed deliverables are fit for purpose.
  • Undertake any UAT necessary.
  • Assess the accounting requirement and treatments for future tactical and strategic work around for new business requirements.
  • Implement the manual process for syndication and dynamic discounting until the automated solution is in place.
  • Work with Group Treasury to bring the COF in line with group processes.
  • Ensure balance sheet controls are strong for all Open Account accounts.
  • Take ownership for mapping updates to sub ledger tables to ensure data flows correctly into the general ledger.
