Your New Role

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. This includes the balance sheet, profit and loss account, internal and external reporting, and other supporting data.

You will deliver franchise actuals reporting review meetings to the Finance team and the FD, and support the FD through regular reporting cycles. You will also comply with relevant policies and consider and escalate the adequacy and effectiveness of the business's controls.

  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of mandatory and strategic programmes that impact on the key financial reporting outputs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will bring previous financial control experience, preferably gained in a financial services environment. You will have worked in a global business (ideally within financial services / banking), and will hold a professional accounting qualification.

  • Experience of reporting, control, and governance.
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders in a changing environment.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement activity.
  • An astute eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving capability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management.
  • The ability to influence and positively challenge with impact.
  • The ability to deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines.
  • A results-driven and professional, proactive approach.
What We Offer

A generous basic salary depending on experience of between £65,000 to 85,000 + excellent benefits.
