As a Culinary Support Team Member at HC-One, your role is centered around compassion and care. This principle is woven into every facet of our facilities dedicated to Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist Care. Your duties as a Culinary Support Team Member will encompass the preparation and delivery of wholesome meals that our residents will appreciate. Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene is essential. Whether you are overseeing food inventory, mentoring new staff, or ensuring kitchen equipment is well-maintained, prioritizing the well-being of our Residents is paramount.
HC-One is looking for a Culinary Support Team Member with prior kitchen experience, as well as an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or a willingness to obtain one. Essential skills include strong organizational abilities, excellent record-keeping, and the ability to follow recipes accurately. Additionally, it is crucial to demonstrate kindness and consideration in all interactions with Residents and team members.
Recognizing signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and knowing the appropriate steps to take is vital. All team members are required to undergo ongoing safeguarding training. Promptly seeking guidance and reporting concerns, including escalating issues when necessary, is part of your responsibilities.
