In your position as an Assistant Culinary Professional at HC-One, you will prioritize one essential aspect above all else: kindness. Every single member of our team understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories to tell. As a Support Chef, you will be responsible for cooking and serving nutritious, healthy meals that our residents will love. You will provide outstanding support to our First Chef, taking charge in their absence. Your duties will include managing food stock, working out how to make the most of your budget, coaching a colleague, and supervising the kitchen clean-up, always keeping the wellbeing of our residents in mind.
HC-One is seeking an Assistant Culinary Professional with at least a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and a great understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Beyond that, it's all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. You will be organized, meet deadlines, present your food attractively, and have a knack for following recipes perfectly. Whenever you communicate with a resident or colleague, you will be truly considerate and kind.
