Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and organized Healthcare Assistant to support our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with patient assessments, administering medications, and providing general support to our clinical team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and medical histories
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by our medical team
  • Provide general support to our clinical team, including preparing patients for examinations and procedures
  • Restock and maintain medical supplies and equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Successful completion of the Care Certificate or equivalent
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a primary care environment
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
