About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and staff in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to patients, including washing, toileting, and other daily activities.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver patient-centered care and promote a positive and supportive environment.
- Assist with clinical tasks and procedures as required, under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements
- Good standard of literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
