The Rheumatology Research Team at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the advancement of clinical knowledge in rheumatology.

Main Responsibilities

  • Recruit and manage a portfolio of clinical research studies, adhering to Good Clinical Practice, relevant professional standards, and guidelines.
  • Act as a patient advocate, promoting wellbeing needs and supporting patients through their clinical research journey.
  • Assist with patient recruitment, screening, and conducting study visits, including patient assessment, data collection, sample collection, and monitoring of adverse reactions and compliance.
  • Coordinate clinical trials and studies, including management of study documents, data collection, and study consumables.
  • Ensure study protocols and procedures are adhered to in accordance with local practice and GCP guidelines.
  • Develop personal development needs and attend training courses.
  • Contribute to the organisation of the department and creation of standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Manage workload, use effective decision-making skills, and evaluate processes and results.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders as required.
