Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated HGV Operator to become a vital member of our team. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for driving and a desire to deepen their understanding of the construction materials sector. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely delivery of our products across various regions, thereby upholding our reputation for efficiency, safety, and quality. Comprehensive training on our offerings and operational procedures will be provided, equipping you to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently transport concrete, coated asphalt, and aggregates.
  • Engage and foster positive relationships with both the internal Distribution Team and external clients.
  • Ensure all deliveries adhere to legal standards, emphasizing the health, safety, and environmental protocols of Breedon.
  • Collaborate closely with the area Transport Manager to enhance delivery schedules and routes.
  • Contribute to team efforts by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including the possibility of nights and weekends.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • A valid Class C License and a current Driver CPC.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A diligent and positive mindset, coupled with a willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including availability for occasional nights and weekends.
  • A genuine interest in the construction materials industry and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth.
