Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Administrative Support Officer based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, offering a fixed-term/secondment role.

Key Responsibilities:

You will deliver a comprehensive and confidential clerical and administrative support service to the Learning Disability Service (LDS) within the North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates should possess 'O' Grade / Standard Grade Credit or National 5 qualifications in English and Maths, along with an SVQ Level II qualification in Administration or equivalent experience. A recognized IT qualification in Microsoft Office applications is also required.

You should demonstrate advanced keyboard proficiency, experience in managing electronic filing systems, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Previous experience in an NHS setting and familiarity with NHS inter-disciplinary networks are advantageous.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adapt to changing demands and priorities.

Work Hours:

The position requires 18.6 hours per week, which can be arranged over five mornings or two and a half days per week.
