Senior Geotechnical Estimator

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join their team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for taking ownership of opportunities from the initial enquiry stage through to the handover with the delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with in-house engineering and delivery teams to craft detailed and effective tender proposals.
- Engage in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) during the early stages of prospective projects.
- Coordinate design efforts for Design & Build (D&B) contracts.
- Prepare estimates and develop compelling tender submissions to secure new work.
- Present geotechnical solutions to potential clients, clearly communicating their value and benefits.
Requirements:
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience in the specialist ground engineering field.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles.
- Proven experience in estimating packages related to piling, slope stabilization, ground anchoring, or grouting.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with colleagues, prospective clients, external consultants, and other industry professionals.
- Experience in estimating from first principles.
