About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and surveying aspects of large-scale projects. This involves effectively managing costs, ensuring targets are met by controlling the budget and valuations, including regular updates of estimated final costs, and demonstrating absolute cost and value reconciliation. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing all sub-contractor procedures and processes, as well as materials and goods as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain all cost control procedures in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
  2. Stay up-to-date with new materials and methods of construction, as well as the latest regulations, codes of practice, and NHBC requirements.
  3. Provide training and mentorship to subordinates to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  4. Be responsible for all cost control procedures, including managing and controlling the budget and valuations by regularly updating the estimated final costs, and being able to demonstrate absolute cost and value reconciliation.
  5. Oversee all commercial tasks and responsibilities on large sites, including those with over 200 units.
  6. Compile Site Start budget, collaborating with all departments to ensure the document is completed on time to allow construction to commence, and sales to begin marketing.
Requirements
  1. Hold a HND level or higher qualification with a valid CSCS card.
  2. Be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret, and present data to facilitate budget preparation and subsequent valuations.
  3. Participate in a competitive bonus scheme.
