Falmouth Fairfax is seeking a skilled Residential Investment Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the residential team, this individual will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of living sector investments, from active asset management to enhancing value through acquisitions and optimising portfolio performance.

The Role

This role involves assisting with the execution of asset management initiatives, including capex programmes, new lettings, renewals and rent reviews. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment and development opportunities, as well as assisting with the formation of asset management strategies for existing assets and prospective purchases.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution of asset management initiatives, including capex programmes, new lettings, renewals and rent reviews.
  • Sourcing and evaluating new investment and development opportunities.
  • Assist with the formation of asset management strategies for existing assets and prospective purchases.
  • Market research – liaising with agents and valuers and analysing market reports to produce market intel and assumptions for business plans and cash flow analysis.
  • Reporting – assistance with the production of board reports for the existing portfolio and investment memorandums for potential acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Degree or similar professional qualification.
  • MRICS qualification (preferred).
  • At least two years' experience in the real estate industry.
