Falmouth Fairfax is pleased to partner with Dorrington to source a skilled Residential Investment Surveyor. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for a diverse portfolio of properties, including traditional rental homes, serviced apartments, and co-living spaces.

The Role

This individual will report to Directors in the residential team and be involved in the entire lifecycle of living sector investments, from active asset management to evaluating investment opportunities and enhancing value through acquisitions and portfolio optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in executing asset management initiatives, including capex programmes, new lettings, renewals, and rent reviews.
  2. Develop asset management strategies for existing assets and prospective purchases.
  3. SOURCE and evaluate new investment and development opportunities with the team.
  4. Assist in compiling information for the acquisition/sales process.
  5. Conduct market research, liaising with agents and valuers, and analyze market reports to produce market intel and assumptions for business plans and cash flow analysis.
  6. Assist in producing board reports for the existing portfolio and investment memorandums for potential acquisitions.

Requirements

Dorrington seeks an ambitious, personable, and self-motivated candidate with a degree or similar professional qualification, preferably MRICS qualification, and at least two years' experience in the real estate industry.
