About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled B2 Engineer to join our Civil Flight team at Leonardo, a global leader in aerospace, defence, and security. As a B2 Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our civil aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on civil aircraft, ensuring compliance with CAA and EASA regulations.
  • Perform hourly and calendar-based scheduled maintenance, adhering to approved maintenance programs and OEM aircraft data.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects, utilizing approved aircraft data.
  • Inspect, remove, and install avionic aircraft systems.
  • Supervise civil flight technicians and mentor certifying engineers.
  • Work at offsite locations to support aircraft on ground (AOG).
  • Investigate and understand human factors, safety management systems, and raise Voluntary Occurrence Reports when necessary.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an aeronautical apprenticeship or service equivalent trade training.
  • A type-rated CAA-issued Part 66 maintenance license in category B2.
  • Previous experience working with AW139 or AW189 aircraft.
  • Extensive experience in a helicopter maintenance environment.
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams, serial numbers, breakdown procedures, work instructions, service bulletins, technical logs, manufacturer's maintenance data, and maintenance programs.
  • A strong understanding of CAA and EASA regulations, including Part 145, 66, and M.
  • Conversance with CAA CAP publications.
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations, both nationally and internationally.
