Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the production of monthly management accounts, complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and perform end-to-end ledger management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and experience within the motor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all balances are known and are correct
  • Perform end-to-end ledger management, including monthly payroll and reconciliation of off-sales DOC daily
  • Check and verify sales commissions, update daily estimates vs actuals, and reconcile eBay, Shopify, and Amazon accounts
  • Optimize systems to ensure efficient use and supervise the purchase ledger to ensure timely processing of invoices and no debit balances
  • Supervise the sales ledger to ensure timely collection of debts and hold weekly debtors meetings with managers
  • Communicate effectively with department managers and assist with financial matters
  • Daily cash flow forecasting and cover weekly forecast in the absence of the Financial Controller

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the motor industry
  • AAT qualified or QBE
  • Sound accounting skills and experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a business
