The Ageing and Complex Medicine Directorate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our services.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Service Overview

The Ageing and Complex Medicine Directorate provides a range of services, including Acute Comprehensive Geriatric Medicine and sub-specialties such as Stroke Medicine, Ortho Geriatrics, and Frailty Services. We have a team of six substantive Consultants, one Associate Specialist, and three Specialist Registrars, and we are seeking a Locum Consultant to join our team.

Team and Environment

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working in a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Acute Medicine and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
