Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at prosource.it. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for IT projects.
  • Facilitate needs assessments and develop recommended project control solutions.
  • Determine, monitor, and review project economics, including costs, operational budgets, resourcing requirements, and risks.
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities, including subcontractor monitoring.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards and requirements.
  • Control project requirements, scope, budget, resourcing, and change management risks and issues.
  • Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria.
  • Manage changes in operational plan via defined functional processes.
  • Assist in the training of the project team on application of procedures.
  • Maintain awareness on emerging technologies and project management techniques.
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plan.
  • Undertake status review meetings among project team members and stakeholders and escalate risks and issues to the Programme Manager.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Work with management on project proposals, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
  • Coach and advise team members to accomplish project goals, meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues.
  • Develop and manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring continuous and clear communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong experience of planning and managing multiple projects in an IT infrastructure or application environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to develop projects and deliver them against financial and resource constraints.
  • Good project planning and execution skills.
  • Proven track record with the use of reporting tools to monitor project activities and analyze project performance.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and explain project goals and objectives to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of Project Online.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Waterfall or Agile.
  • Qualifications in one of the following project delivery methodology or frameworks and experience of others, such as: PMI Standards, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Managing Successful programmes (MSP) or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with users and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and internal staff through large-scale business change.
  • Previous experience within the Oil & Gas sector would be advantageous.
  • Previous Integration project experience beneficial.
