Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Prosource. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing large and complex IT projects from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for IT projects
  • Facilitate needs assessments and the development of recommended project control solutions
  • Determine, monitor, and review all project economics, including costs, operational budgets, resourcing requirements, and risks
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards and requirements
  • Control project requirements, scope, budget, resourcing, and change management risks and issues
  • Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
  • Assist in the training of the project team on application of procedures
  • Maintain awareness on emerging technologies and project management techniques
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plan
  • Undertake status review meetings among project team members and stakeholders and escalate risks and issues to the Programme Manager
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
  • Work with management on project proposals, contracts, estimates, and schedules
  • Coach and advise team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues

Requirements:

  • Strong experience of planning and managing multiple projects in an IT infrastructure or application environment
  • Ability to develop projects and deliver them against financial and resource constraints
  • Good project planning and execution skills
  • Proven track record with the use of reporting tools to monitor project activities and analyze project performance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and explain project goals and objectives to the project team and stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of Project Online
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Waterfall or Agile
  • Qualifications in one of the following project delivery methodology or frameworks and experience of others, such as: PMI Standards, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Managing Successful programmes (MSP) or equivalent
  • Previous experience within the Oil & Gas sector would be advantageous
  • Previous Integration project experience beneficial
