Job Opportunity

Nexos is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role that requires a high level of expertise in project management and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Estimating and Quotation: Undertake project estimating, quotation, and follow-up activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project estimates.
  • Project File Management: Complete and maintain project files, job packs, and Slingshot data to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Material Sourcing and Procurement: Source and procure materials and services as required to support project delivery.
  • Project Technical and Commercial Management: Assume full technical and commercial project responsibility, including managing project costs and collating variations in a timely manner.
  • Project Delivery and Completion: Ensure timely completion and delivery of projects, meeting client expectations and requirements.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Meeting and Invoicing: Attend and contribute to production and progress meetings, and initiate commercial invoicing of projects.

Requirements

  • Relevant Experience: Demonstrate experience in a relevant or similar role, with a strong understanding of project management principles and engineering practices.
  • Estimating and Management Skills: Possess excellent estimating and management skills, with the ability to manage integrity work scopes and ensure accurate project delivery.
  • Industry Knowledge: Have a good knowledge of industry codes and standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a project management context.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure seamless project execution.
