Job Title: SEN English Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN English Teacher to join our team at The Aurora Group. As a SEN English Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students with SEN, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English to students with SEN, using a range of strategies and resources to meet their individual needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans, in consultation with students, parents, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals, using a range of strategies to support students with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching English to students with SEN.
  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and policies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
