Payroll Manager

SS&C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of five outsourced payrolls for the company's UK and Republic of Ireland legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Payroll Administration:- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly payroll data, including automated interfaces with outsourced payroll providers and manual data feeds.
- Review and approve monthly payroll run files, resolving any errors or discrepancies.
- Provide formal approval of the final monthly payrolls.
- Oversee the annual payroll reporting to HMRC, including the calculation and submission of Class 1a/1b NIC liabilities.
- Assist with annual taxable benefits reporting P11d's and stock option/RSU reporting to HMRC.
- Work with the Finance Team to reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts, ensuring all outstanding items are cleared in a timely fashion.
- Complete defined Sarbanes Oxley controls and maintain formal documentation.
- Support the annual audit processes, including Internal Audit on Sarbanes Oxley controls and PWC on the annual external audit.
- Manage the relationship with outsourced payroll providers and suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with internal HR Teams, Finance, and operational management.
- Day-to-day management of the Payroll Team.
- Assist with TUPE transfer arrangements, group reorganisations, system upgrades, and other projects with a payroll impact.
