Job Title: Payroll Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of our payroll operations in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Payroll Administration:
    • Oversee the running of monthly payrolls, including automated payroll data interfaces to outsourced payroll providers.
    • Provision of manual payroll data feeds for items not covered by the interfaces.
    • Review accuracy of monthly overtime hours data and applicable pay rates.
    • Oversee reporting of taxable stock award transactions through payroll.
    • Review draft monthly payroll run files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Resolving errors or discrepancies.
    • Providing formal approval of final monthly payrolls.
  • Payroll Reporting:
    • Oversee annual payroll reporting to HMRC.
    • Assist with annual taxable benefits reporting P11d's.
    • Calculation and submission of annual Class 1a / 1b NIC liabilities.
    • Annual stock option / RSU reporting to HMRC (Form 42).
  • Internal Controls:
    • Work with Finance Team on reconciliation of payroll related balance sheet accounts.
    • Complete defined Sarbanes Oxley controls and maintain formal documentation.
    • Support annual audit processes for both Internal Audit and PWC on external audit.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Manage relationship with outsourced payroll providers.
    • Maintain relationships with internal HR Teams, Finance, and operational management.
    • Day-to-day management of Payroll Team.
    • Assist with TUPE transfer arrangements, group reorganisations, system upgrades, and other projects with payroll impact.
