The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Publisher Success Manager to join our team. As a key member of our publisher success team, you will be responsible for managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 publisher partnerships, including top global websites. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining meaningful relationships with our publisher clients through in-person meetings and regular communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 publisher partnerships, including top global websites.
  • Conduct in-person Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and meetings with publishers to discuss business growth, revenue opportunities, and challenges.
  • Analyze industry trends with partners to help shape publisher strategy and identify new revenue streams.
  • Serve as an expert on GumGum's products, publisher tools, and platforms, providing guidance and support to publishers as needed.
  • Identify and resolve account management bottlenecks, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between GumGum and our publisher partners.
  • Escalate technical issues to our Solutions Engineering team as needed, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor daily reporting to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth, providing insights and recommendations to our publisher partners.
  • Support publisher onboarding with our Solutions Engineering and Partner Management teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years in digital media/ad tech, with experience in a network, exchange, or SSP environment.
  • Account management experience in ad tech, creating client solutions and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficient with JIRA, Zendesk, Google Sheets, ticketing systems, and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of the media industry, digital advertising, and ad tech.
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and GSuite (JIRA & Google Ad Manager are a plus).
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve complex problems.
  • Passionate about media, ad tech trends, and building lasting publisher partnerships.
