Operational Control Centre Team Lead

Are you a seasoned leader looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Operational Control Centre Team Lead to join our team at Serco. As a key member of our Operational Control Centre, you will be responsible for leading a team of OCC Controllers, providing end-to-end operational management, and ensuring the smooth transportation of prisoners across the South of England regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of OCC Controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of operational tasks
  • Develop and implement operational plans, ensuring compliance with SOPs, LOPs, and legal requirements
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure the effective management of resources, including personnel, equipment, and logistics
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Serco's goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in logistics and operations management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
  • Computer literacy, with experience in using software applications and systems
