Job Description

Job Title: Autism Support Assistant

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Hull

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and energetic individual to provide support for pupils with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). As a Support Assistant, you will work collaboratively with other Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and class teachers to create positive relationships with pupils and encourage positive choices and behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support within classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and class teachers
  • Support pupils throughout the school day and across the specialist provision
  • Encourage positive choices and behavior in pupils
  • Work with pupils to incorporate the use of senses into learning

Requirements:

  • Competitive rate £11.85-£12.67
  • No prior school experience required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
  • Reliability and punctuality
