Job Title: Deputy Director of Environment and Regulation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as Deputy Director of Environment and Regulation. As a key member of our Resident Services Directorate, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic portfolio of services that touch the lives of our residents.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be accountable for leading a range of services including:

  • Waste Services
  • Parks and Open Spaces
  • Grounds Maintenance
  • Arboriculture
  • Street Cleaning
  • Commercial regulation (including licensing)
  • Environmental crime
  • Bereavement Services
  • Markets

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the delivery of these services, ensuring they meet the needs of our residents and contribute to the overall success of the council.
