About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Heathrow line station. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for safety management in aviation.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Plan and coordinate weekly shift patterns for site personnel, manage inventory control, and oversee local logistics for customers and Panasonic Avionics capital assets.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Create schedules for preventive maintenance of systems installed on customer aircraft during day/overnight holds, and manage local site-specific responsibilities.
  • External Contacts: Maintain routine daily interactions with customers at the Line Maintenance level, and liaise with local airport authorities for local logistics.
  • Onboard Maintenance: Occasionally perform onboard maintenance activities and fill in for absent employees when required.
  • Supervision: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of direct reports, and handle tasks involving the evaluation of situations and data.
Requirements
  • Background: Experience in Aircraft Line Maintenance and a working knowledge of Safety Management in Aviation.
  • Qualifications: Qualified to satisfy regulatory licensing for assigned country or geographical region, and customer requirements UK CAA B1 or B2.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience as a lead/crew chief/supervisor/mentor, and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or equivalent products.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve problems as they occur locally, and use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity to grasp and work with tool parts and equipment, and ability to climb and work from a ladder or platform.
