An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Specialist Nurse in Vascular Access within the Renal Services team. This pivotal role is essential for enhancing patient care and will involve travel across various locations within the Renal Services.

We seek candidates with substantial experience in a Renal service setting. The ideal applicant will possess the ability to operate autonomously in this specialized capacity, advocating for the significance of prompt and effective vascular access. Recent professional development activities and a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience are prerequisites for this position.

Work hours: 22.2 hours per week.

NHS Scotland is transitioning to a reduced full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours, effective from April 2024, with no alteration in remuneration. This change will also apply proportionately to part-time staff. Consequently, this advertisement reflects the new working hours, although some service areas may not immediately implement the reduced hours.
