We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vascular Nurse Specialist to join our team in the East of Scotland Vascular Network. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in this area, with a focus on palliative care for patients with advanced vascular disease.
The Vascular Service provides highly specialized care to patients with vascular disease across primary and secondary care. As a Vascular Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to deliver patient-centered, efficient care. You will gain experience caring for patients with complex needs and develop your skills in clinical assessment and audit.
The post offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including specialist teaching from nursing and surgical staff, and the chance to contribute to the development of vascular palliative care practice. You will work in a clinical team that values patient safety and delivers high-quality care in a challenging surgical environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to improving patient care, and the ability to work well within a large and diverse team. You should have extensive experience at Band 5 level within an acute setting, specifically in the vascular specialty.
