Bodyshop Manager

Pybus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead a team of skilled technicians at one of our client's car dealerships in Hartlepool. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the highest quality of work.
Job Purpose:The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team of bodyshop staff, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business expansion. You will be an experienced people manager with excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Direct the daily activities of the Bodyshop, coordinating workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Control: Foster a culture of excellence, leading by example to maintain top-tier quality control.
- Customer Service: Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and fostering lasting relationships.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability without compromising on quality.
- Staff Development: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of Bodyshop staff to build a high-performing team.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a Bodyshop management role, with a track record of success.
- People Management: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Industry Knowledge: A thorough understanding of Bodyshop processes, including estimating and insurance company procedures.
