Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support physical servers, networking, SAN infrastructure, virtualised solutions, security, and Azure.
- Respond to alerts created by proactive monitoring, ITSM & security tools, and day-to-day management of client solutions such as Azure Backup and Site Recovery, VMware virtualised infrastructure, and supporting SAN storage.
- Assist in updating and deploying existing and new technologies, installation guides, and ensuring client documentation is up to date.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Service Desk Engineer.
- Ideal technical skills (at 2nd Line level):
- Microsoft Windows (10 & 11) & Apple OS
- Microsoft Server (2012, 2016, 2019 & 2022)
- Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Forms, PowerApps/Flow, PowerBI, Intune/Endpoint Manager/Autopilot)
- Microsoft AD, Windows Server, Exchange Server, RDS
- Hosted Telephony Administration (RingCentral/8x8)
- Server & SAN solutions (Dell/HPE)
- Backup & DR (Microsoft/Veeam/BackupExec/Azure)
- Virtualisation Management (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Networking (Cisco/HPE/Dell)
- Firewall Administration (Cisco/WatchGuard/Fortigate)
- Microsoft Azure
