About the Role:
We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Operating Room Nurse / ODP to become part of a distinguished private healthcare facility located in Norwich. This facility boasts advanced medical technology and offers a supportive environment for a dedicated Operating Room Nurse / ODP to integrate into their welcoming surgical team. The team is committed to delivering patient-centered care, ensuring that the well-being of patients remains their top priority. The facility provides a diverse array of services and surgical procedures, including orthopaedic surgeries, joint replacements, plastic surgeries, gynaecological procedures, ENT, and general surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the surgical team, you will take on the role of Scrub Nurse / ODP, with responsibilities that include:
- Assisting in various surgical operations, including orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT, and general procedures.
- Preparing patients for surgical interventions and providing care throughout the surgical process.
- Reviewing patient records and verifying information.
- Ensuring that all medical instruments are ready and available for surgery.
- Monitoring the patient's condition during surgical procedures.
- Performing anaesthetic duties as needed.
- Supporting patients during their recovery phase following surgery.
- Handing instruments to the surgeon during operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Must hold a valid NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Eligibility to reside and work in the UK.
- A minimum of 2 years of UK experience in a scrub role is essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
