Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of our products to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Planning: Collaborate with our manufacturers to schedule, produce, and deliver stock on time and in full.
- Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement to ensure timely deliveries and quality products.
- Supplier Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to drive change and improve our supply chain processes.
- KPI Management: Manage key performance indicators, including customer and supplier on-time delivery, product availability, inventory health, and data accuracy.
- Risk Management: Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
- Relationship Building: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, to ensure efficient inbound deliveries and reverse logistics.
About You:
- Proven experience in supply chain, purchasing, or demand planning.
- Experience working with manufacturers and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems.
- High energy, willingness to learn, and a can-do attitude.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a start-up mentality.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and with a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with data and manipulating it to explain current positions and next steps.
