Job Summary:

As a Senior Nurse Trainer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating clinical skills-based training, professional discussion, and competency-based assessment for clinical staff across all centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate clinical skills-based training, professional discussion, and competency-based assessment for clinical staff across all centres.
  • Manage a team of Nurse Trainers and deputise for the Learning & Development Manager as required.
  • Develop, review, and implement a range of cohesive clinical leadership, management, and organisational development programmes.
  • Organise, oversee, and facilitate the Induction program for staff members new to the organisation and bespoke in-service training as required.
  • Collate and prepare monthly reports for the Learning and Development Manager on deliverables set by the Executive Board.

Requirements:

  • UK Registered Nurse with an active PIN.
  • Level 3 aware in Education and Training (or equivalent), Ideally: Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years' leadership experience, and strong people management skills.
  • Facilitating training sessions in a similar setting, both face to face and virtually.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management.
  • Good IT skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, and PowerPoint).
