Job Title: Strategic Weapons Systems Engineer (Requirements)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the requirements set in DOORS
  • Process change requests and engage with stakeholders
  • Support team deliverables through planning, scheduling, task management, and delegation
  • Review UK Platform System design documents to ensure SWS interfaces are captured correctly and that unequivocal verification evidence of system compliance with these requirements is produced

Requirements:


Essential:

  • Minimum HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of the Dynamic Object Orientated Requirements System (DOORS)
  • Systems requirements Engineering verification and validation experience
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous experience of reviewing System technical design documents and assessing against requirements

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Dreadnought design policies for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of the Trident SWS and associated SW competencies
