Matron for Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Matron to join our team in the Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care Division at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Matron, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and management to nursing staff in the Emergency Medicine and Integrated Care Division.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Conduct regular ward rounds and provide feedback to staff.
- Monitor and report on clinical performance and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Provide education and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the Trust's nursing strategy.
Requirements:
- Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Operational management experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and experience in leading change, innovation, and practice development.
