Senior Polymer Materials Specialist

Victrex Sustainable Solutions, part of the Victrex plc group, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrialisation Manager to join their team. This exciting opportunity will be based on-site at Hillhouse, with some potential for hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide subject matter expertise for the performance evaluation quality and testing of PEEK polymer and components used in thermoplastic composite pipes and hybrid flexible pipes.
- Focus on key components such as extruded PEEK pipe and unidirectional-oriented continuous carbon-fibre reinforced PEEK tapes, including multilayer composite structures.
- Act as a primary contact for internal and external customers for the thermoplastic composites pipes program.
- Collaborate with senior technical experts internally and externally to support the successful qualification and commercial adoption of thermoplastic composite pipes and hybrid flexible pipes.
- Coordinate and manage quality initiatives, including specification setting and continuous improvement projects.
- Fundamental polymer/materials science background with an emphasis on physical and mechanical properties.
- Experience with composites is preferable.
- Experience interpreting statistical data.
- Project management skills.
