This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Technical Management professional to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the company's success. As the technical lead for food safety and legal compliance, you will be responsible for leading the technical department, driving quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the company's products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive food safety and quality strategy to ensure the company's products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Lead the technical department in maintaining the required BRC standards and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Coordinate HACCP team meetings and ensure that the HACCP plan is reviewed and updated regularly to reflect changes in products, ingredients, and processes.
- Verify and document all Critical Control Points (CCPs) and ensure that they are understood and implemented correctly.
- Manage and review HACCP prerequisites and ensure that they are up-to-date and compliant.
- Develop and implement an integrated Pest Control policy with the external provider.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cleaning procedures to ensure they are correct and effective.
- Coach, mentor, and develop the existing technical and quality team through regular development plans and performance reviews.
