We're seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at our facility in Cheltenham. As part of our Site Services team, you'll work on environmental testing chambers, air conditioning systems, chillers, vibration systems, industrial ovens, wash tanks, and other manufacturing equipment.

Your primary focus will be on preventative and reactive maintenance in refrigeration systems and control systems, including programmers, chart recorders, relays, and switchgear. You'll also be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for plant and equipment on site, working on air handling units, compressed air, water, hydraulics, and electrics.

You'll have responsibility for emergency events on site, including fire and flood, and will be trained to perform weekly fire alarm testing and run the diesel sprinkler pumps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on environmental testing chambers, including installation, PMs, programming, and fault diagnosis.
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, chilled water systems, and confidence in pneumatics, electrics, hydraulics, and vibration systems associated with environmental testing.
Requirements:
  • Safety-conscious individual with electrical competency (C&G or equivalent).
  • Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in vibration systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and water systems is a bonus.
  • Desire to gain training on other production equipment and expand scope of repair capabilities.
