About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maths Education Specialist to join our team at Novus. As a Cover Tutor - Maths, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality maths education to learners in a small group setting
  • Work collaboratively with our team of dedicated professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement engaging maths lessons that cater to the individual needs of our learners
  • Provide one-to-one support to learners who require additional assistance
  • Contribute to the development of our maths curriculum and resources
Requirements
  • Teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards)
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Track record of effective teaching in maths subject specialism
  • Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
